Frequently Asked Questions

What are the benefits of Qigong?

Many people experience:
• increased vitality and clearer energy flow
• improved balance, flexibility, and posture
• reduced stress and emotional tension
• greater sense of calm and equilibrium
• enhanced resilience and internal harmony

Benefits tend to accumulate gently over time, becoming part of everyday life.

Who is Qigong for?

Qigong is for anyone seeking more balance, vitality, and ease in their life. It’s suitable for all ages and all levels of experience – whether you’re completely new, returning to movement after a break, or looking to deepen your mind–body connection. The practice adapts to you, not the other way around.

Can I practice if I have limited mobility?

Absolutely. Qigong is inherently adaptable. Movements can be done standing or seated, and can be modified to accommodate injuries, chronic conditions, fatigue, or reduced mobility. Many students find that a steady, gentle practice actually supports rehabilitation and improves functional movement over time.

Do I need any special equipment?

No special equipment is needed. Wear comfortable clothing you can move in.
A chair can be helpful either for seated practice or simply for balance and support when needed. Otherwise, you’re welcome to bring only yourself and an open mind.

What should I expect in my first class?

Expect a calm, welcoming pace. You’ll be guided through simple movements and breathing practices, with space to rest, pause, or adapt as needed. There is no pressure to get anything “right”, Qigong unfolds naturally as you become familiar with the sensations and rhythms of your own body.

Is Qigong similar to Tai Chi or yoga?

Qigong shares roots with Tai Chi and shares some intentions with yoga, but it is a distinct practice. Its movements are typically simpler and more intuitive, with an emphasis on internal awareness and energetic flow rather than choreography or physical stretching. Many people find Qigong to be one of the most accessible mind–body practices to begin with.

What I Offer

Here are the ways you can practice Qigong with me, each shaped by the traditions I’ve studied and the qualities I naturally bring to teaching. Sessions are usually around an hour, but can be adapted anywhere between 30 and 90 minutes to support your energy, schedule, and personal needs. I’m an English and Greek speaker.

Qigong for All

Open to everyone, these classes weave together the forms, principles, and insights that have shaped my own practice over the years.
Each session offers fluid movements, breathwork, and embodied awareness, meeting you gently where you are and supporting balance, clarity, and renewed energy.

No prior experience is needed – simply come as you are.

One-to-One Sessions

Private sessions are tailored to your individual needs and intentions. Whether you’re navigating physical limitations, stress, emotional shifts, or simply prefer a more personalised approach, together we co-create a practice that honours your body, your pace, and your rhythm.

Depending on what you’re seeking, these sessions can be grounding, restorative, or gently energising.

Collaborations & Workplace Wellbeing

I welcome collaborations with organisations, community groups, and wellbeing programmes. Qigong can be a deeply supportive practice for teams, helping reduce stress, improve focus, and foster a grounded, harmonious collaborative environment.

If your group or workplace is interested in exploring Qigong, I’d be delighted to discuss possibilities.
